Dear Friends,
Some time in 2005 we realised that in 2006 the combined ages of the Burrows children would be passing the 100 mark and this seemed like a good excuse for a party! For their part the kids (if you can still call them that) were bemoaning the fact that it would be a non-Glastonbury year.
In very short order they hi-jacked the idea, put the two together and came up with GLASTONBURROWS. Whilst still very much a private party it was a sort of music festival in our garden in aid of Leukaemia Research Foundation.
The intention was to have several bands (on a farm trailer stage), DJ's in the garage, BBQ type food, some stalls, camp fires with a wigwam and lots of gentle silliness with friends, some of whom we won't have seen for a long long time.
Well, we did it again! July 2008!! Then did it again! August 2011!!
See you at the next one and thanks for the support.
